How do I find invisible characters in my text?
Paste it here — every invisible or non-standard character is highlighted in place with its Unicode name (e.g. U+200B ZERO WIDTH SPACE), plus a per-type count, so you know exactly what's hiding in the text.
Where do these hidden characters come from?
AI chat interfaces, word processors, web pages and messaging apps all insert them — non-breaking spaces from layout, zero-width joiners from emoji, soft hyphens from justification, smart quotes from autocorrect. They survive copy-paste invisibly.
Why do they matter?
