PDF Editor lets you fill and annotate any PDF without installing software. Click to add multi-line text in the size and color you need, drag whiteout boxes to cover content, highlight passages, draw freehand with the pen, drop checkmarks and crosses, and stamp PNG or JPG images — then move, resize and edit anything with the Select tool, with full undo/redo and zoom. The built-in OCR reads every page, lets you copy the recognized text out, and can add an invisible text layer to the download so a scanned PDF becomes selectable and searchable. Every page is rendered and rebuilt locally, so your file is never uploaded.

- Choose a PDF file — every page appears in the editor.
- Pick a tool (Text, Whiteout, Highlight, Pen, Check, Cross or Image) and click or drag on a page; use Select to move, resize, edit or delete anything, with undo/redo and zoom.
- Optionally run “OCR — extract text” to copy text out of scanned pages or embed an invisible searchable text layer.
- Click “Download PDF” to save the edited file.
Perguntas frequentes
Can it edit the PDF's existing text?
For scanned documents, yes: run OCR, then use “Edit on page” to convert the recognized lines into editable text you can correct, move and restyle right on the page. For digitally-created PDFs it overlays new content — cover old text with Whiteout and type the replacement over it, the same approach most PDF fillers use.
Can I make a scanned PDF searchable?
Yes. Run “OCR — extract text” and keep “Add invisible text layer” checked: the recognized words are embedded invisibly at their exact positions, so the downloaded PDF becomes selectable and searchable while looking identical. You can also copy the extracted text per page.
Can I fill out a form with it?
Yes. Place Text directly over the form's fields and lines, tick boxes with the Check or Cross tool, and stamp a signature image with the Image tool. It works on any PDF, even ones without interactive form fields.
Is my document uploaded?
No. The PDF is rendered, annotated, OCR'd and rebuilt entirely in your browser — it never leaves your device.
