AI Image Detector

AI Image Detector inspects an image's metadata for signs it was AI-generated — embedded Stable Diffusion / ComfyUI prompts, generator software tags, and C2PA Content Credentials from tools like DALL·E and Adobe Firefly. It runs entirely in your browser.

ℹ️ This checks metadata and Content Credentials, not pixels. It reliably flags AI images that still carry their metadata, but can't judge images whose metadata was removed.

🔒 The file is read in your browser — your image is never uploaded.

How to use AI Image Detector

  1. Choose an image.
  2. We scan its metadata and content credentials.
  3. Read the verdict and any AI signals found.

Frequently asked questions

Can it detect any AI image?

No. It detects AI images that still carry metadata or Content Credentials. If the metadata was stripped (e.g. a screenshot or re-saved file), this check can't tell — analysing raw pixels would require an ML model.

What signals does it look for?

Embedded generation prompts in PNG text chunks (Stable Diffusion/ComfyUI), generator software tags (Midjourney, DALL·E, Firefly, etc.) and C2PA provenance manifests.

Is my image uploaded?

No — the file is read locally in your browser and never sent anywhere.
