About these video & audio
Extract audio, cut clips and turn video into GIFs without uploading a thing. These tools run FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly (ffmpeg.wasm) directly in your browser, so your footage never leaves your device. The video engine (~32 MB) downloads once on first use and is then cached — after that, processing is fully local. Best suited to short clips; very large files can exceed a browser tab's memory. Frequently asked questions
Are my videos uploaded?
No — everything runs locally in your browser via ffmpeg.wasm. Only the engine binary is downloaded (once), not your video.
Why does the first run take a moment?
The FFmpeg engine (~32 MB) downloads and initialises on first use, then it's cached for the rest of your session.
Is there a file-size limit?
There's no upload, but browser memory limits very large videos. Short clips work best; trim long videos first.
