Word Unscrambler & Anagram Solver

Word Unscrambler turns a rack of letters into every playable word. It checks your letters — blanks included — against the public-domain ENABLE dictionary of about 168,000 words, the same list Words with Friends uses, and ranks results longest first with Scrabble points beside each word. Board-fitting filters (starts with, ends with, contains, exact length) narrow the list to words that actually fit your game — Scrabble, Words with Friends, Wordscapes, Text Twist, anagrams or the daily Jumble.

Frequently asked questions

How do I unscramble letters into words?

Enter the letters on this page — every word that can be built from them is found instantly and grouped by length, highest-scoring first. Add filters like "ends with" to match your board.

Which dictionary does it use?

ENABLE — a public-domain list of ~168,000 words that Words with Friends is based on and that overlaps heavily with Scrabble dictionaries. Some tournament-only Scrabble words may differ, so check your game's dictionary for competitive play.

How do blank tiles work?

Type ? for each blank (up to three). The solver treats it as any letter and finds every word your rack can reach. Remember a blank scores 0 in Scrabble even though the shown points assume the real letter.

Does it work for Wordscapes, Text Twist and Jumble?

Yes — those games draw from standard English word lists, so unscrambling your letters here finds the answers. Use the exact-length filter when the puzzle wants a specific word size.

Are my letters sent to a server?

No — the dictionary downloads once from this site (about 500 KB) and all unscrambling runs in your browser. After the first visit it even works offline.
