Can I make a GIF with audio?
No — the GIF format itself has no sound. If you need audio, keep the clip as a video: trim it with the Trim Video tool instead, or compress it for sharing.
Can the GIF have a transparent background?
Videos don't carry transparency, so a GIF converted from video always has a solid background. Transparent GIFs have to be authored from transparent source images.
Why keep the clip short?
GIFs are large and memory-heavy. A few seconds at a modest width and fps keeps the file small and avoids exceeding browser memory.
