Frequently asked questions

Where is my recording saved?

Only in your browser, in memory, until you download it. It is never uploaded to any server.

What format do I get?

WebM (Opus audio) by default, which every modern browser records. You can convert it to MP3 in one click, which runs locally via ffmpeg.wasm.

Why can’t it access my microphone?

Your browser must be granted mic permission, and the page must be served over HTTPS. Also make sure no other app is using the mic.
